QB Situation - Sept 27th

Bills:
I'm surprised that Edwards was cut midseason; however, he deserves it. He was the reincarnation of JP Losman. I expect the Bills to continue to flip-flop QBs.
Situation: Fragile

Dolphins:
I was expecting Pennington to take over and win another comeback player of the year award; however, Chad Henne is looking like a reliable starter.
Situation: Solid, but not great.

Patriots:
Tom Brady
Situation: Great, if not super.

Jets:
After a horrid week 1, Sanchez is looking like the best Jets QB since Namath; however, that isn't too difficult to do.
Situation: Solid.

Ravens:
Flacco finally emerged in week 3. Bulger is always an option.
Situation: Solid-esque.

Bengals:
Carson Palmer. He really needs some reliable competition.
Situation: Solid by default.

Browns:
Delhomme was not the pre-season Delhomme and then he got hurt. Seneca Wallace has been the best Browns QB since Jeff Garcia(?). Oh, wait Derek Anderson once was good wasn't he?
Situation: Undecided for the time being.

Steelers:
What a luxury. Roethlisberger isn't available. Dennis Dixon and Charlie Batch are winning. Leftwich could probably win with this team.
Situation: Solid with any of the 4 QBs.

Texans:
Schaub
Situation: Great, if not super.

Colts:
P Manning... 9 tds 0 ints
Situation: Super

Jaguars:
Garrard. With no competition, as McCown is out for the year.
Situation: Solid by default.

Titans:
Vince Young and Kerry Collins may continue to dance all year long. They should stick with Young all year. If he isn't reliable then they should trade him.
Situation: Slightly below solid.

Broncos:
Orton.
Situation: Solid.

Chiefs:
Cassel. Although, he needs competition.
Situation: Solid, sadly.

Raiders:
I was wrong about Campbell and Gradkowski.
Situation: Fragile.

Chargers:
Rivers
Situation: Great, if not super.

Cowboys:
Romo, but needs OL help to take advantage of his skills.
Situation: Great.

Giants:
E Manning
Situation: Just below great. He's playing below his capacity.

Eagles:
Vick. With Kolb waiting.
Situation: Slightly below solid, only because Andy Reid will wait for the first horrid game to bring Kolb back in.

Redskins:
McNabb
Situation: Solid to great

Bears:
Cutler.
Situation: I believe. Solid, if not great.

Packers:
Rodgers, who is not the new Steve Young as I predicted...at least not yet.
Situation: Solid, if not great.

Vikings:
Favre is one or two more bad games from losing his spot to Jackson or the rookie Webb.
Situation: Not great, not even solid.

Lions:
Stafford is hurt. Shaun Hill is boring.
Situation: Slightly below solid until Stafford returns.

Falcons:
Ryan
Situation: Solid, to great.

Panthers:
Clausen, with the possibility of a Moore return. Both are awful.
Situation: Fragile.

Saints:
Brees..over 75% completion.
Situation: Super

Buccaneers:
Freeman with Josh Johnson eager to start, at least somewhere.
Situation: Solid

Cardinals:
Anderson will lose out to undrafted Rookie (and nephew of Danny White from the 80's Cowboys) Max Hall
Situation: Fragile

Rams:
Bradford.
Situation: Solid, yes, with a rookie. Will be best rookie QB since Roethlisberger.

49ers:
Alex Smith will be benched at some point and out of SF
Situation: Slightly above Fragile

Seahawks:
Hasselback.
Situation: Solid

QB situation for each team - Aug 29th

Bills:
Trent Edwards seems to be the likely starter. However, don't be surprised to see Fitzgerald or Brohm playing by the end of the year. Edwards's success depends on the play of CJ Spiller.

Dolphins:
Chad Henne will start. I think there's an off chance that he underwhelms and Chad Pennington comes in and wins his 3rd Comeback Player of the Year Award.

Patriots:
Brady

Jets:
Mark Sanchez is still the clear starter; however, he's also still learning.

Ravens:
Flacco. The backup battle is between Troy Smith and Marc Bulger.

Bengals:
Carson Palmer

Browns:
Jake Delhomme is showing his old brilliance. If he falters, Seneca Wallace will be ready. Colt McCoy is a year away from being serviceable.

Steelers:
Roethlisberger will miss the first few weeks. The backup battle is between Leftwich and Dixon. Batch is a long-shot. Leftwich will probably start the first four games.

Texans:
Schaub

Colts:
P Manning

Jaguars:
Garrard. Although, Luke McCown is tempting.

Titans:
Vince Young. Kerry Collins isn't even an option anymore at this stage of his career.

Broncos:
Orton. Quinn is lucky to stay on the team. Tebow shouldn't play yet.

Chiefs:
Cassel. Although, he needs competition.

Raiders:
Campbell. I think this is the team for him.

Chargers:
Rivers

Cowboys:
Romo

Giants:
E Manning

Eagles:
Kolb. May make a few mistakes, but seems promising. Vick seems expendable.

Redskins:
McNabb

Bears:
Cutler. Although, don't be surprised if LeFevour takes over.

Packers:
Rodgers--the new Steve Young

Vikings:
Favre. With the off-chance of being replaced by a young QB like Jackson, or even better, Webb.

Lions:
Stafford. Looks better than Sanchez in the preseason.

Falcons:
Ryan

Panthers:
Matt Moore, but Clausen may come in if the Panthers feel like losing after they're losing.

Saints:
Brees

Buccaneers:
Freeman. But I think Josh Johnson has an off chance.

Cardinals:
Up in the air. Leinart is still better than Derek Anderson, I think. I think Skelton takes over soon.

Rams:
Bradford will probably win out over Feeley just before the season starts. Expect injuries and ugliness this season.

49ers:
I think Alex Smith keeps the job all year. Although, David Carr may actually surprise.

Seahawks:
Hasselback. Whitehurst just isn't good.

NFL Draft 2010 Rookies according to CBS

CBS makes these comparisons:

Sam Bradford - Eli Manning: This makes Clausen seem slightly more enticing. Redskins would need more of Clausen type. I think the Rams would be a good fit for Bradford.

Jimmy Clausen - Aaron Rodgers: I take that as a pro-ready Aaron Rodgers, which would make this guy a must pick for any QB needy team. Rams may trade up to get him, but Redskins should fight for him.

Colt McCoy - Jake Plummer: This isn't bad if he's like the Broncos version of Plummer. I could see him going to the Cardinals or Broncos in the 2nd round.

Tim Tebow - Donovan McNabb: And now that I think about it, I can see the Eagles taking him. Possibly in the 3rd round, or they may gamble for him in the 2nd round.

Dan LeFevour - Charlie Frye: Not good advertisement. I could see the Browns, Raiders, or Seahawks trying him in the 3rd or 4th round.

QB situation for each team

NE: A: Brady, and a young and promising backup in Hoyer.
NYJ: B: Sanchez will eventually be their man. They need a better veteran backup.
MIA: B: Henne shows promise. Thigpen will probably leave if he can't compete for the job.
BUF: C: Fitzgerald wasn't terrible. Trent Edwards should get another shot. Draft.

CIN: B: Palmer still isn't 100%. They need to draft a competitor.
BAL: B: Flacco still needs to be more consistent, and useful, if he's to be the franchise guy.
PIT: A: Roethlisberger, despite risky play, will be here at least five more years.
CLE: F: Quinn, or Anderson, or even Ratliff. They need a total makeover. Draft.

IND: A: P. Manning
HOU: A: Schaub has finally reached his potential. Already the best QB in franchise history.
TEN: C: Young still needs to learn consistency. I think Collins could stick around, in case...
JAX: B: Garrard is still good, he just isn't great. They may draft someone to compete.

SD: A: Rivers is a top 5 QB.
DEN: C: Orton is the most unpredictable QB in the league. They may draft a competitor.
OAK: D: Gradkowski shows signs of okayness. Trade Russell to CLE. Draft a QB again.
KC: C: Cassell isn't playing how KC would have wanted. Bring in a FA competitor.

DAL: A: Romo looks like he's finally matured.
PHI: A: McNabb will still be their best option at QB.
NYG: A: E. Manning wasn't the problem this year.
WAS: D: Campbell isn't bad, he just isn't effective. Trade him, or draft a competitor.

MIN: A: Favre, if he doesn't retire. If he does, the rating goes down to a D. Draft a rookie.
GB: A: Rodgers is already their third best QB in history behind Favre and Starr.
CHI: B: Cutler could make this an A if he plays like he did at the end of the year.
DET: C: Stafford had that one great game. Still a step behind Sanchez in the process.

NO: A: Brees, the new Marino.
ATL: A: Ryan, took a step back, but I think he'll be the new Aikman.
CAR: C: Matt Baker won the job over Delhomme, I think, but needs to improve. Draft.
TB: D: Josh Freeman, sometimes looked like the best rookie.

ARI: A: Warner, if he doesn't retire. Otherwise it's a D with Leinart. Draft QB.
SF: C: Alex Smith plays his best season. I think they'll give him another shot in 2010.
SEA: B: Matt Hasselbeck is slowing down. A good time to draft a QB if Teel isn't the future.
STL: F: Keith Null, may be their option over Bulger and Boller, 2 now dire options. Draft.

Possible early round (1st-2nd) QBs that need to be drafted: 12!
